Welcome to the Main Event!

Shana Rodgers - Event Planner and Coordinator
Children’s parties are some of my most favorite parties to plan and design! This is when I get to let all of my creative thoughts run amok! Planning a child’s party is about bringing that child’s fantasy world to life, so it requires for me as the planner and designer, to get in touch with my inner child and design from that perspective.
Recently, I had the privilege of planning, designing, and coordinating a huge carnival themed birthday party for an adorable 1 year old girl named Eden, whom also happens to be my niece! Her parents invited 60 of Eden’s closest family and friends to the party and 90 people actually showed up in search of a good time. Needless to say, that is exactly what they found!
For this party I decided to go with the primary color scheme since primary colors are often associated with a carnival or circus. I wanted everything to look over-the-top and exciting, so we decorated with wild circus banners, balloons of all sizes and colors, an assortment of different colored table cloths, and confetti! The menu consisted of charbroiled burgers, french fries, hot dogs and nachos with all of the most popular garnishes. There was a plethora of carnival treats for guests to indulge in like cotton candy, popcorn, peanuts, Red Vines, Fun Dip, Gummy Bears, Ring Pops, and gumballs. All of which could be bagged and taken home. The cake was a two tiered cake with a four horse carousel on top that actually spun around! Each child received a vintage popcorn box that was filled to the brim with party favors like bubbles, silly straws, giant swirly suckers, party horns, and other small novelty toys.

The DJ played popular music that was sung by Kid’s Bop, Alvin and the Chipmunks, and the Chipettes!

There were games galore for the kids to participate in. Among the favorites were, musical chairs, the potato sac race, and Pin-the-Nose on the Clown. The kids also were able to burn off their sugar rush in the giant bouncer that was also filled with balloons that they could chase around!

There was a petting zoo that was filled with hungry party animals. The children enjoyed feeding bottles of milk to the small goats and pigs. But of course, the star party animal was the pony that the children could take turns riding. I mean, what’s a 1 year old birthday party without a pony?

You know the feeling of anticipation you feel when you are at a theater and you’re finally about to see that summer blockbuster movie you’ve been seeing trailers for since January? The lights dim, the audience applauds and the movie begins! Well, this is exactly how the guests at your wedding feel. Over time, your guests have watched your relationship with your fiancé bloom, they’ve received your “save the dates” and made travel arrangements just to see you and your beloved tie the knot. So needless to say, your guests have been anticipating your upcoming nuptials for almost as long as you have. The wedding ceremony, more specifically, the Bride’s walk down the aisle, is the moment many of the guests have been anticipating for months! The ceremony and the bride’s walk down the aisle should be unforgettable for not just the bride and groom but for the guests as well.
Crème de la Royale, LLC just completed the amazing Brideworld Expo back on July 10 and 11. The show took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in downtown L.A. and was well attended with a very high volume of soon to be brides and grooms.
They came from all over California seeking those perfect vendors, information, and of course, Crème de la Royale to make their upcoming special event extra special. The show was very successful for Crème de la Royale and we look forward to working closely with most if not all of them to make their dreams come true.

Imagine you’ve just married the love of your life, you’ve enjoyed cocktails, a delicious meal and cake, and you have partied most of the night away with all of your closest family and friends. Just when your guests think the festivities are winding down and coming to an end, you and your guests are led outside for an extra special delight. Suddenly, the sky is illuminated by a custom fireworks display just for you and your guests, in honor of your wedding day! Of course, this may not seem appealing to the shy and quiet types, however, for the extroverts and more unreserved types, a pyrotechnic display decorating the sky is a sure way to set your event apart from all of the rest and ending your perfect celebration with a bang! From that day forward, fireworks will remind you and your beloved of that most precious and exciting day.
